What they're Saying

Positive Youth Sports LightA sample of comments from recent evaluations:

* I would highly recommend this workshop to coaches and parents. It will greatly benefit you and your kids or team.

* Outstanding!! I thought I was going to learn how to become a better parent but this information will considerably increase my coaching ability. Was an eye-opener!

* This training class should be incorporated into the program for coaches training in all sports leagues.

* Excellent balance of valuable and validated information with real world practicality.

* This workshop has helped me to learn how to be/show my child the encouragement that he needs.

* Signing your kids up for sports and hoping the coaches do the rest is not enough. This workshop helps parents understand how they can help their kids do better in sports and in life.

* What I liked about this workshop is that it opened my eyes to responsibilities I have as a parent as it relates to sports. I always thought that you just enrolled your child in sports and the positive things from sports naturally "occurred" for my child. I now realize the important role I play.

* I think it would be a good workshop for coaches. Coaches should encourage parents to teach these principles.

* Helping me (as a parent) realize that I am the most important coach my son will ever have.
